Convenient place to run amp power wires through firewall?

Hey guys, getting ready to install my Alpine 9813 HU, Alpine Ai-Net XM tuner, Kenwood mono sub amp and JL Audio 10" in my P5 tomorrow. I'm wondering what location folks use to get their amp power wires through the firewall to the interior. I'd like to not drill or have to cut TOO much stuff...any nice rubber grommets available for this use?

Thanks!

Nate

This is alot of work to run but the end results are worth it . I ran my power wire through the drivers side fender . Firts you have to jack up the car ,remove the drivers front wheel ,then undo the inner fender liner ,inside the fender you will find the main factory wire harness it leads to a larger grommet in the door frame . there is enough room to run the wire through this grommet . The wire will come out just above the fuse panel inside the car .
You could also do a search on other locations .

there is a small hole just above the clutch pedal, wen you open the hood, you will see a rubber gasket a few inches below the hood line, i just took a screwdriver, stretched an existing hole a bit and ran my wire through there

I used the same spot, it wasn't hard at all. Just make sure that you seal back the hole after you're done, you can use some silicon.

I too used the same spot and ran my power wires on the driver's side and RCAs on passenger side. It is the easiest, although not REALLY easy, place to go to.

that rubber hole in the firewall is the best, and once you get into the cabin, just take off the kick panel on the drivers side, along with all door sills, and the plastic cover to the seat belt, and just run the wiring behind that stuff.....that is what Sound Advice did with mine.
