red and blue gives you purple. red and green (green being yellow and blue) should be a delightful brown. actually with lights, who knows what would dominate, but you can be certain it would be less than attractive.

When mixing light, red and green make yellow (RGB color model). That's how "red/green/yellow" LEDs work, when both red and green elements are on, the light is yellow.

Toru,

That chicken / penguin in your avatar... Is that from the old "Wallace and Gromit" claymation movies? If so, I believe that was the penguin that tried to rob the bank, and was caught, was it not?

LOL! That's the one! My favorite had to have been "A Close Shave" (with the sheep) but "A Grand Day Out" (trip to the moon) was pretty good too! :D

i changed the bulbs in my cluster to red bulbs. the center 2 are standard 194 bulbs. i got the APC red ones. they show up like blood red through the green tint. it looks good, but it's not very bright.
i'll second that part about the bulbs not being very bright. i tried it when i did my cluster swap, and i just ended up taking the red bulbs back.

Yep, it's Feathers McGraw, the criminal mastermind from the Wallace & Gromit film, "The Wrong Trousers".
