looks good. I would've used a slightly bigger font for the numbers on the speedo. It's kinda hard to see since its so small.

They actually aren't much smaller, if at all, than the stock numbers. My crappy pics just make them harder to see. They are a different font and may be slightly skinnier, but all in all I don't have any problems reading them. The only thing that is going to take some getting used to is that the numbers go in multiples of 20 instead of tens.

no one has any feedback for me? That kinda bums me out :( :)

They look good lit up in blue, but the font looks small to me too!

The font isn't much smaller than stock, my cell phone camera is not the best. They are very clear and easy to read. I had to take the pic from kinda far away in order to fit the whole cluster. but its mostly because the poor pic quality..

Ditto on the blue.
I never look at my speedo anyway. Only the tach. And the only thing I need to know is how close the needle is to the redline.

LOL...don't worry bro...Phil likes 'em & that's all that matters. How difficult was the install? The blue would accent my interior...details!

You got white gauges that glow blue??? What were they before?

Actually, the install wasn't too bad. The worst part of it was trying to tap the wiring into the wiring of my car! For future reference, don't try to tap them into the dimmer nob wiring! I thought it would be a perfect spot, but when I got done, If the dimmer nob was all the way up the gauge lights were all the way down and the neeldes were fully lit, and when the dimmer was all the way down my gauges were fully lit, but not the needles! But other than that I thought the install was pretty simple. After hearing all the horror stories about breaking needles I was really worried. But the holes in the center of the gauges were big enough to slide right over, I had to be very carefull but it wasn't too bad. I found the easiest way to slide the gas and temp gauge on was to unscrew it from the circuit board. Oh and somehow along the way, I wired them to where only the needles light up when the running lights are on, but once u turn on the headlights the gauges light up. I was kind of dissapointed at first, but I think it looks great when it isn't completely dark yet and just the needles are lit. APPARENTLY, the font on these is too small :) but I love them, They are simple and very clean, The only other thing that these gauges have besides the basic MPH, RPM, and gas and temp, is a MAzdaspeed logo on the tach that lights up. But there is no KPH like the stockies, or any other clutter like the cheapo EBAY reverse glows.

I am fully satisfied with these gauges, aside from the steeper price. But well worth it in my book.

My stock gauges were black with green numbers, they were quite boring! Not my style! Also, I think the contrast between the blue numbers and orange needles looks good. I like that contrast in color, aside from the ugly green odometer!

I Just installed mine 2 days ago, I have a 97, I Had to learn the hard way, first of all, BUCK they look great, the green one's really do suck, I mean it's a big difference from the old one's hehe.

Now What I meant about learning the hard way, was about the installation, I actually broke a needle... THAT HURT SO MUCH!!!!!!...

TIPS!:
1.- take out the DASH.
2.- when you unscrew the screws (sorry for my english, Im from Tijuana) separete them so you know where to put the back in!.
3.- when you take out the Transparent cover, becarefull not to brake the sides, usually they are very fragile, if it's to hard to take out than look for anything else that's has not been unscrewed.
4.- AT LEAST ON 2nd GEN DO NO TAKE OUT NEEDLE!!, like buck said, just unscrew them from the circuit board and slide them over, they'll make it!.
5.- NOW the Wiring, I was going to put the on the dimmer too but I did not trust the Dimmer, So what u need is a 12Volt positive and Negative that you can find in the lighter.
Perfect for that.
another one that i tried was one of the Fuse and just some ground.
look for the fuse that your ligts use. QUARTZ.

And ther you go.

Now... does anybody have an extra needle.... :( hehehe.
Nevermind i getting one next week. :)

From what I have heard, at least for the 3rd gen proteges, you actually have to replace the whole gauge assembly if u break a needle. But I'm not sure if the same is true for your 97
