changing dash...

If you wanted to change the color of your dash (not the trim pieces, like around the radio and door handles and stuff, i mean the rest of it), what would be the easiest, cheapest way to do it without it looking cheap?

Anyway, there might be a way to use a dye to color the vinyl dash pieces (check with an interior trim shop), or you can just recover over the top of it with new material. My interior shop said they could "dip" my steering wheel and make it yellow, however the coating that they use is very sensitive, i.e. I could possibly scratch it with my rings.

get different color interior parts from a junker or re-cover like Phantom said...painting or dyeing looks like crap.

w3rd. It might take a while to search out junkyards, but there are some great Mazda recyclers on the web that might be able to do the leg work for you.
