CD Changer

Hi all,

Just put a deposit on a Mazdaspeed Protege today and was wondering if you could enlighten me about the audio system. I know about the head unit. Does the Mazdaspeed Protege come with a cd changer. If not, what cd changer would you suggest if I wanted to keep the kenwood head unit. Does Mazda offer a CD changer as a dealer installed option? Where would you mount the CD changer?

Thanks,

John

I am pretty sure it comes with a MP3 Kenwood Player so why the need for a cd changer when you can fit around 10-12 albums on MP3 format on a single CD?

I guess you could take the Mp3 player out and put a changer in its place......or have one installed in the trunk or elsewhere?

This may be more than you want to spend but I would go with one of these do to the fact that you could hold either 10 gig or 20 gig worth of mp3's on them. You can also go with any of the standard Kenwood 6 or 10 Disc Changers.

10 Gig - http://pix.crutchfield.com/products/...KHDC710-f.jpeg
20 Gig - http://pix.crutchfield.com/products/...KHDCX91-f.jpeg
6 Disc - http://pix.crutchfield.com/products/...DCC667dmt.jpeg
10 Disc - http://pix.crutchfield.com/products/...DCC717dmt.jpeg

Hope this helps.
