In terms of how they look, well they look just fine I guess. Sorter whiter light colour.
In terms of how they perform, they're worse than stock. ~A |
Don't get blue xenon bulbs man...trust me...it may look nice on the first couple of days...after that..the appeal dies down...esp. when u realize how shitty the visibility is with those things!
I'm using eurolite xenon blue right now...and I'm waitin' to get my xenon super whites, b/c the xenon blues just don't cut it...outward visibility is crap and more importantly, light output doesn't cover much grounds. Go for super white bulbs if you're thinking of changing from stock, or w/ more $$$, go HID.... |
U cant realy see them realy good bit I'll pm some pics. Sorry there pritty bad

can you pm me the pix too? thanks...

Check out this thread..
http://www.protegeclub.com/forum/sho...ght=headlights - if this link works, look for a LOT of comments on headlights. If the link doesn't work, search on keyword "323F" or "headlights".

with the headlamp manufacturers, i think they try and make a light bulb something that its not. yeah, they look good, but they only run on what, 55 or 85 watts? your best bet is buying a super white halogen, or possibly (i'm not for certain) sylvania cool blues. i ran those and they lit alright, a little better look than the stock bulbs were, but lit like shit. to get better lighting on the road, make sure your headlights are aimed properly (new vehicles need not worry so much), or you can go with an HID conversion. these bulbs are great bulbs, its just IMHO they need more wattage to be an effective xeon bulb. i run apc frost lamps in my car, you can see a pic on my avatar of these lights, they look bright as hell, but to tell you the truth, when it comes to lighting up the road, i drive with my highbeams on constantly cause eitherwise, they don't light up worth a shit.

Last year i bought a set of Xenon Lights from Carlisle Car Show. They were aight, but they were too dim. Couldnt see worth a F. So i put stockies back in.
On ebay you can find a set of HID conversion kits for around $200. Im goin to try out the 9004 HID conversion kit for my 94 Protege. I think it will look aight since i got the plastic headlight houseings. It may direct the light correctly it may not. But ive seen 2 Blue p5s in my area witht he hid conversion. Looks badass as hell. when i see em again. ill take a pic. So id go with stock or hid conversion kits:D |

It wont direct the light right either. It'll make it worse, since the focal point wont be right, and the light bulb wont be designed for the shape of healight, blah blah blah. Anyways, I'm sure you get the point. ~A |
I just got my Sylvania Silverstar low beams (H7) and like
protege52nr, these are amazing bulbs for around 66CDN from www.powerbulbs.com Way better than stock and the visibility improvement was like day and night. Almost looks like a HID conversion. |
