blue led washer nozzles

There are different stories out there about people getting tickets and demerits because of the blue washer leds.

Tickets tend to be discretionary so I was wondering how many people in the forum who have the lites have had problems with the cops.

first time I got stopped it was just a warning........the second, a stupid ticked..............I suggest you hook them up to a switch so whenever you see the pigs you just turn the LED's off....

I think as far as most laws go...you can't have blue or red lights showing in front of your vehicle...I'd say why give a cop a reason to pull you over for...because once he does that he'll start looking for other vehicle infractions...plus the fact that they look gay:gay:

i had probs with the blue, got pulled...just use white..i switched to them and no probs since

Identity_X September-12th-2002 04:46 PM

white and yellow are legal, but anything besides that will cost you a ticket and even the judge wouldn't be able to save your ass..........:D

Thanks for the info guys :D ... I notice most of you are in the States and I agree that it is discretionary ticket = I bet if you fought the ticket you would get off.

Our lights are all hooked up to switches... so that isn't a problem. I figure as long as you aren't doing anything else illegal you probably won't be pulled over... time will tell
