Bass Rattles And Solutions

I have a 2000 Protege DX and I love bass. In the trunk I installed two Kicker CompVR 12"s off a Kicker KX800.2. Basically, the car rattles from the trunk all the way to the door panels and even the wiper blades dance when I turn on the subs. So far, I have removed all the plastic parts in the trunk, the 3rd brake light, and the child restraint supports on the deck. I am ready to install 100 square feet of Dynamat. I read in an earlier post that I should try a few coats of rubberized undercoating in the trunk and on the lid before laying down the Dynamat; and also that I should NOT cover up the trunk vents. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions based on experience on anything I should do before I put in the Dynamat, other things I can do to prevent rattles, and/or any other information relating to this topic. Thanks.

Well I actually didn't buy Dynamat, it's FatMat which is a Dynamat Xtreme alternative. I call all adhesive sound deadeners Dynamat; sorry for the confusion. I'm really only planning to apply it heavily in the trunk area and on the doors. If I have to buy more then so be it. Money is no object when it comes to my system. I already have a few different types of rollers and I heard that metal shards are best for cutting. As for not rushing, my friends make fun of me since I'm so obsessive compulsive about the car so I really plan on taking my time and being absolutely precise. But thanks for the tips, I'll keep them in mind. :)
