Auto-shiftknob?

I know im in the wrong section but i know i'd be getting more help in this section. I was wondering if there is an automatic shift knob out there for my car, mine has a big cut down the middle thanks to my little boy playing with a saw that i left on the floorboard. my car has the "hold" button on it, will it make a difference with that button? i want a red one to match my color scheme. thanks

You're in the right section bro :bt: do a search, some guy (can't remember his name) got a knob for his automatic and modded it to make it look like a manual tranny, it looks awesome.

I found the link for you, here ya go

Hmm, just sorta on a different note, depending on how old you kid is, you should be really careful and keep saws out of the reach of children, heh..

That knob is not for automatics but only for the sport-matic transmission as it doesn't require the lock button. The auto has 2 buttons - 1 for the shifting itself and one for the OD. The sport only has OD so you could do that mod a little easier.

What you can do is get a regular auto shift knob and relocate the OD button since it's rarely used anyways. Then there are more manufacturer options to choose from for the shifter, like momo, ractive and matrix.
