Audio options

Just looking for second opinions here...

I'm backing down from trying to do a SQ-stereo project, but I want to keep a nice simple stereo good for a daily driver and to keep the cost down, and sound nice of course. Definitely doesn't have to be competition worthy, as there's not a whole lot of a point having one in my noisy car. I may be getting a newer car as well but it would be the same options either way.

Right now I'm running 2 amps and 2 12" Vega IT subs, and a Vega IT component set. I have a Cadence Ultradrive set as well (part of my bedroom stereo right now). I want to do a stealthy install and kick panels are getting to be too uncomfortable for daily driving. I am thinking stepping down to 1 12" sub, and a 4 channel amp. The most likely contender for the amp is a Lightning Audio S4.300 (30x2 front, 270x1 bridged rear) Would that be a good choice of an amp? And the only other sub I would probably consider is a C-V HED. Only thing I'm worried about is there will not be enough power up front (I'm used to 50x2 on the components) but I guess that's what the volume control is for :D

So, my options are.

1) Keep one of the IT subs, make door pods for the Cadence set
2) Sell both IT subs, get a HED, keep the Cadence set
3) Keep one of the IT subs (or get a HED) and get nice coaxials for up front

Another question is for the sub only, the enclosure will be flush with the rear seat, and the trunk completely sealed off from the cabin. Which would be better

1) Have the sub firing into the cabin
2) Have the sub firing into the trunk

Thnx for any suggestions :)

P.S. check out my install page most of the stuff you see is for sale if you're interested drop me a line

i like option #2, and then fire the sub into the trunk. where'd you get the cadence? oh, and i would probably look into getting a cadence amp as well and forego the la. but that's just me. :)
