Anyone remove their front grill on their P5?

Has anyone removed their grill and just leave it as is? If so, anyone have any pics? I ask cause it would be similar to the Autoexe grill insert, but just a bigger opening you know. Just curious how that would look. I might try it out this weekend as it requires the removal of the front bumper. Also, is the bottom grill that's in the bumper removable or is it one piece with the front bumper?

Thanks all!

First off, you can remove the top and bottom grill without removing the bumper. Just take a good look at them and locate all the screws and tabs and be prepared to give them a nice pull. As far as leaving the the top grill off, it looks kinda ghetto. There will be a couple tabs visible on the bottom where the grill attached to. IF im not mistaken there was a blue p5 that was advertised as 200hp with both of its grills off and it looked dumb. And besides the autoexe grill insert comes with its own mesh so it is no completely wide open.

I see...

From the pics I saw of the Autoexe grill insert, there's no mesh that comes with it, but I could be mistaken and just didn't pay attention. As for removing the top grill insert, you can't just pop it off. I took off all the screws, but there are two pegs that go into the front bumper beam that you can't pop off without taking the front bumper off. I'll try and locate those pics you said to see how it looks. It was just a thought.

Um, i have the grill and i can say for certain that it does come with a mesh. I painted mine black cuz it looked out of place and i suspect you saw pics of ppl that did the same thing. As far as the top grill goes pull HARD out and up and it should come out.

Thanks!!!

Ok, I didn't really wanna yank all hard so I figured I would just remove the bumper. However, I'll try it this weekend and see how it looks to me. Sorry about being mistaken regading the mesh for the Autoexe grill insert. In the pics I've seen, it really doesn't seem to have one. I like the cleaner look of not being able to see it. Thanks for the help on this.
