Anybody hav Diamond-Cut, Crystal Clear Corners for 3rd Gen

I returned my APC c/f altezzas and my clear corners because APC pretty much suck as far as waterproofing goes. Well I ordered the diamond cut crystal clear ones that are on ProCarParts.com's site, well do I need to seal these (silicone)? I do know that if I reordered APC's clear corners I would have definitely sealed them with silicone or something to waterproof them, but does anyone know if these other kinds are known for leaks too?
THANKS A BUNCH

Did you have blue turn signals in your APC clear corners? I found that they are not very clear and they lit up yellow. Just wondering.

I've had mine for about 6 months now and I didn't seal them with anything and so far no leaks.

The housings look exactly like the stock Mazda ones only clear so I saw no need to seal them.

They are fairly good quality. Mine have been on since last August and no leaks whatsoever.

I wonder who makes them....

yeah

I was wondering the same thing. Who makes them? They are very nicely made. Do you think I should even take the chances of not sealing them, or should I be that confident that they will work? I did have blue bulbs in my APC corners and actually they did light up very blue. They looked nice and all but after leaking they didn't look as nice as I wanted them to. These new ones look like they are actually clear like the headlights so I think they will go along better this time.
THANKS for the help. I think I might just put them on without sealing and I'll let you knwo what turns up.

Hey I have the same clear corners for my 2000 Pro. Check out http://www3.sympatico.ca/jon.wilson to see some older pics of my car with closeups of the corners.

The lights were made for the Ford Tierra (a rebadged Protege in some other part of the world) and fit exactly.

If you don't want your turn signal bulb color to reflect throughout the corner lense when the light is off, you can lightly paint the bulb silver with highheat manifold paint.

I got the ones from procarparts.com
they are a perfect fit, and look great, same as Negatize's
It is a shame that the US pro's do not have the style
of other pro's in other countries....
but, it is a good deal from that website
good luck

I've had the "diamond cut" clears for a little over a year now, and they've been free of any condensation even with directly cleaning the headlight area with high pressure water quite frequently.. there is no need to seal them at all.

I have been impressed by their OEM-like quality, I want to find out what car they're meant for originally, as it wasn't for a U.S. market Protege :D (a Ford Laser maybe?)

They're the only clear corners other than the real JDM ones to have perfect fitment.
