antenna difficulties

The radio in my p5 has no reception. It is not the stock deck...i have a pioneer deh-8400mp. I got subwoofers installed on saturday but the guy called me before he started to let me know the reception was out and that he hadn't touched the car yet. It was news to me because I don't really listen to the radio, more just cds. The only station that does come in is a local one, which makes me think it has to be something with the antenna. On friday I had gone through a carwash with the antenna still on, which i know was a mistake, but there is no apparent physical damage. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Is the antenna grounded out possibly? or is it broken somewhere internally? any help would be appreciated

Make sure the antenna is plugged in to the head unit. I've seen quite a few cars in which the installer forgot to plug it in, and sometimes you'll still pull a station or two if they're local and strong enough.
