Air Fuel Gauge??

Anyone install one...if so, which wire needs to be spliced for the reading?
Thanks!

on the guage or the car ??? I assume you mean the car...that would be the 02 Sensor...on the guage..read your instructions buddy..lol...I would say you have 3 wires...power(red),ground(black),signal(?)

JDM-P5 January-31st-2005 03:32 PM

Yah...I pulled it off the Eclipse...that's what I had instructions for....however...I dunno what the signal wire for the P5 is.

Roddimus Prime January-31st-2005 03:34 PM

the protege uses heated o2 sensors which are 4-wire set-ups. 2 ground, one power and one signal. Grounds are the same color (usually black or white) I believe the signal wire is green. Use a multi-meter to test it. That is the one you want to use.

JDM-P5 January-31st-2005 03:40 PM

Matty...I don't have a multi-meter.
Thank you, good day sir!

And this Green wire runs from the ECU out correct? That's where I ran the wire on the DSM.

Look at your exhaust manifold...your O2 sensor is there

That's a good idea...however...due to the heat issue...I wanted to avoid that. That's the reason I wanted it up top....but if that's my last resort

It's just a wire, It can handle heat....What do think they have connected to the O2 sensor stock ??

if you go into the back of the ECU, you can splice into the second 02 sensor. i do believe it's the pink/blue wire located at pin #60. let me find the how-to:
