I'm going to be buying my Protege very soon and wanted to get some feedback of any sites you guys know of that have pictures of quality ***** and/or short shifters...

I'll be replacing the stock one as soon as I get a chance and would love to see some of the ***** out there... Any suggestions?

the b&m short shifter is supposed to be the best for all the proteges. there's even a good how-to on how to do it yourself on GroHarlem's website. as for shift *****... that's a personal preference thing. but i'm partial to the Mazdaspeed cf **** that corksport sells and I believe Eric F has attached to his b&m short shifter.

Where can I find a picture of the shifter **** you described and where can I order the B&M short shifter?

there's a few online places that sell the b&m, summitracing.com sells them, and there's another thread floatin around with the other place online. also, I believe Rishie sells them. email him at autornd@hotmail.com and find out.

as mike mentioned....the shifter **** is something personal....just use whichever search engine you normally use and put in SHIFT **** and then start looking.....there are many makes and models.....everything from carbon fiber ergonomically designed ***** to ***** that look like skulls that glow at night.....its really a personal choice.
