6 cd changer
 

Hey everyone, just got a nice blue mp5 today. Well anyways i got the optional 6 cd changer, but wanna get a new head unit with mp3. Will the new HU work with the 6 disc changer or not?

I assume you mean you would like an aftermarket HU with MP3 capability. If so, then no, the stock changer will not work since it is in-dash and interfaces directly with the stock HU. On the other hand, you may be able to find an in-dash changer with MP3, give Crutchfield a try. I think JVC may make one.

If you decide to go with one, let me know, I might be willing to take the changer off your hands! :D
