1995 Mazda protege cd player installation
 

Hi there, I just brought a cd player for my 1995 mazda protege. It currently has a factory cassette player in it. I'm having problems removing the cassette player, because I don't know what to pop out/remove. If you guy can tell me any web site or where to look, That'll help alot.

each side of the deck has a plasic cover about 1/4 inch wide pop it of with a small flat top screwdriver and you will see the holes . You can use the U shaped tools or 4 nails that fit in the holes and push them in and away from the center of the deck and it should come out.

I've got an almost identical radio left over from my 95 MX-6. There are two metal pieces that are removable on each end. Sometimes they are stuck on pretty good especially if they've never been removed.

I've got the radio sitting here... if you want me to take a picture and send it to you showing the holes, just PM me.
