Great Meet Today

Well, this was my second meet and it was great. Over 30 rides showed up. Mostly protege5's, I was hoping for more sedans to turn up, maybe next meet.

The weather was quite chilly but wasn't as cold as my previous meet. Hopefully, the weather will be warmer in future meets.

It was nice to meet new people and checkout each others' rides. There's always something new to come, so for those who didn't make it today, hope to see you out at next meet. :)

znole, great to hear about you Toronto guys beating the Vancouver record.

Have you been on ICQ lately? Don't know if you remember, but I used to talk to you before, so message me if you're ever on.

Oh, and just so you TO people know, Vancouver's up to something big. We are going to take the 33 cars that you guys had, and then add some more for you guys to beat!!!

Toronto --->:spank: <---- Vancouver

Hey, Makaveli, how are you? Yes, I remembered what we've talked about. Remember the bodykits that I was making? Well, I have problems getting fibreglass to cure properly (in winter). So now, I went back to my old idea (junkyard stuff). I have obtained
old bumper parts and cutting them up to fit (o.e.m. eurathane). Plus, I also bought a mid-wing with lights (from Subaru-Impreza). The fittings were better than I expected. I am aiming for completion at the end of April, this month. So, if you like, drop me your e-mail and I'll send some pictures as it progresses. Oh, and all these can be done for about $300.00 to $400.00. I've spent $180.00 so far and what's left is just paint.

00-pro-lx, touring pkg., 5-speed, black, tints, fogs, clear lights, lowered, meshes, alum. int., & more, spicy looking.

Oh yeah, I remember your fiberglass experiments, but sorry to hear that they didn't turn out well....

My e-mail is bbulovic@sfu.ca

e-mail me sometimes, or just send me a message on ICQ if you still use it

Hey Makaveli! An update on 00-pro-body-kit. I've completed my body-kit, 2 front corners, 2 rear corners, 2 side sills, and a mid-wing (junk yard modified stuff). I've got them all painted and they turned out mighty good. I will install them in the next few days and the pictures of course. It won't be long now. Oh, the final price came out $430.00 cdn..

I'd love to see a pic too if you could post them.
Otherwise if you could email to protru@yahoo.com but I don't check it that often.

Thanks

Hey, great turn-out and some nice rides too. I will be posting my ride with my self-modified body-kit, if I knew how. It would be nice if someone could give directions on posting pictures. Thanks greatly!

znole May-12th-2002 01:05 PM

Hello again. Sorry for the long wait. For those who dropped me their e-mails, I have sent you my pictures of homemade modified bodykit (00-pro-lx). I will be posting them up as soon as I figure out how to post pictures on here. Let me know what you think.

znole May-12th-2002 03:19 PM

Hey! It's me again. O.k. people, I have posted my homemade bodykit pictures. They are located at 'Exterior / Interior Forum'. Enjoy!
