Just wandering whats going on with our message board. I guess it probbably wont get fixed till after the long weekend cause whoevers gonna fix it is on vacation.

I suppose you're feeling a little lost without the TOprotege board too,... I feel like I've just been dumped.... and I don't know what to do with all the spare time I usually chew up reading the board.
S'pose I could wash my car again,.... and dream of that short shifter soon to come.

Anyone have any clue as to what's going on with the group buy?? This week (Sept 2. to Sept 6) is when we're supposed to meet, but without a forum, how are we going to meet?? :eek:

The shifters are in. I am waiting on the bushings. then I will call a meeting for pick up.

I thought the bushings would be here prior to the shifters.

is the meet going to happen this week for the sparko wire group buy?? if so, could someone email me (jali_p5@hotmail.com) and let me know. there was like 25 of us who were interested and who would now be lost. :eek:

Do any of you guys know how to locate the IRC chat thing for #toprotege,.... I can't find it .
Maybe there's some info floating back and forth there.

Oh BTW,..... my hunch as to why the board went down:

Late one night last week Dave and KeeWee got so hot and raunchy in their posts that they caused a server core carnal meltdown.

i'm having trouble trying to get a connection to an EFNET server, let alone getting to the #toprotege channel. mIRC only lists two canadian EFNET servers, one in montreal, and one somewhere out west, any servers in the area??

try joining the #toprotege channel, but you need to be on an EFNET server to do so.

you know what, that actually makes some sense.....wonder if they're on this board cause they may need to use some extra protection in the event of a similar situation :D

I got it to work the other night, but no one was in there. Not sure if you know how to use it or not but, d/l from www.mirc.com extract it, click on connect and choose a server that says "Efnet"....Once connected to that server you type in /join #toprotege....

I went in there and there was 1 other person I hadnt recognized, maybe it was a problem on the server I was on but I left and didnt go back. You cant store info in there though. Its only a chat room pretty much.

Hey thanks Protege00, and Jali-P5,...... I guess were stuck here there for a while. Not a bad place to be,....... there's tons of great info and how-to-do's in here. Some of these dudes have spent millions in mods and seem pretty knowledgable. It's rather humbling.
