Terrapin Motorsports Car Meet May 3rd
 

Terrapin Motorsports, a new car club at the Univ. of Maryland is having a second car meet May 3rd in lot 4b. It'll be much bigger than last semester's because they have a bunch of sponsors including the local mazda dealerships.

There will also be a mobile dyno on site available, $50 for two pulls.

turnout for this event may just be SLIGHTLY affected by Carlisle...

I didn't know that. Oh well, I'm just passing on information, I didn't choose the date and I'm not part of the planning for the event at all.

we have a car club again? i used to be part of crank.. the old car club. we did auto-x's in lot 4 where comcast is now till we got in trouble. i did a few road rallys with them and trips to the track. then i got busy and others graduated...

FYI, this looks like it's going to be BIG. I know there are other draws (Carlisle) but, I see people talking about the UMD meet on a lot of messageboards. So, spread the word. I'd love to see a HUGE mazda turnout.

if the weather is bad saturday morning and the weather report doesn't look too good up in Carlisle (i really don't want to be walking in a wet, muddy, unpaved fairground), I may just end up dropping by good ol' College Park for a peek or two :)
