Port and Polish in Hampton Roads

Anyone know where i could get my head port/polished/decked around the Norfolk, Hampton Roads area? A good place. Anyone know about how much it would cost to do that?

I think I saw some hoes in chesapeake that could take care of that for you?

No but there is a place on build america drive I dunno what its called. In the yellow pages. Anyhow they were very informative when I had engine questions. I doubt they can do the work but Im sure that they know who can. Lie and say you are air force maybe they will hook ya up.

why the air force???

Most engine places I called in Hampton seemed sympathetic to military folk thats all.

It's a complete military community, Langley AFB, Oceana, Fort Monroe, Fort Eustis, Newport News Shipbuilding, Norfolk Naval Base...

So basically, we get a lot of military discounts around here, sales BOOM on Military pay day...and we get see beautiful women from all over the US when they come into port. :D

try millenium autosports in portsmouth, balluzo in Hampton (this is where dave was talking about), xtreme motorsports (i think thats the name) in cheasepeake. They can all help you out. I have used millenium for installs in the past. They are great guys.....Use the navy since you're in it Chris. You still need another job????

DON'T GO TO PERFORMANCE AUTO SALON! at all don't go there... the owner is a bitch and i hate the place... i used to work there,,,, he's crooked and on top of that he has everything way overpriced... i'm not kidding... sorry, had to rant... go to millenium or you could try performance unlimited in norfolk on ave j... there's a lot of pro's just got to get them up here on the group :)

Yes, heed my warning too, I agree. Performance Auto Salon is a 100% ripoff.
My conversation with the guy:

Me: I have a Nitrous EFI kit I need to get install, how much do you charge?
PAS: What kind of car? Wait, ok it'll be $465
Me: ...Well, I already have the kit.
PAS: Yes $465
Me: Umm, yeah, thanks...

The guy also tried to convince me my car was 4 lug and I'd be getting the wrong set of rims...he told me to come in with the wrong rim so he could laugh at me.

the ones i listed are in the HR area. I am a big fan of millenium especially since my old motorcycle shop buddy works there now. He has a turbo civic. Its a good thing when you roll up to a shop and all you see nice cars. People with nice cars don't take their babies to shitty shops. They are working on a civic with a prelude motor right now. The owner has the quickest FWD car in tidewater. I think they know their stuff.

Well, i went down to the beach and stopped by this one place called BBA Motorsports, and they told me just for a basic port and polish its around $300. Then they said that its about $900 if i want the swirls in the head which add about 30 hp. But i really don't have the $900. And i thought it would be a whole lot cheaper for port and polish. I was thinkin in the ball park of $150.

sounds probably like my friend who works there or the owner (alan chan, biggest f#()ing dickhead).... they do that all the time there... i worked there for like 2 months or so before he fired me and wouldn't tell me why, he had my friend fire me and all kinds of drama... i hated the bs there, especially when he tried to tell me about my car and he's a honduh head....

$300 sounds about right for a port and polish, i don't know about this swirl deal though...
