Guys, what are we doing about this club?

Are we gunna get one goin or not. Besides us guys that know each other directly (wil, me, derrick, dave, hank,chris, etc) anyone else goin to get into this club with us?!??!?!!?

And as meets go, we need somone to organize one. to help the club out. Maybe everyone takes a turn in organizing a meet. I know its too much for one person to do it. Thats why we arnt having a president. So lets get shit in gear and do what we said we were gunna do!!!!

Yea i know, thats one that was made. We need other ppl to organize a meet, besides u and wil. Cause its too much for 2 ppl to do. Wil is already gunna do the site. Other members need to take part and help out.

Dudes, This is Rider69 of the Central Florida Chapter. Yeah, you guys need to get organized and get the club going. I want to maybe setup a meet towards the end of the year for all chapters to meet. If nothing else, then maybe setup a meet at the AllMazda Event happening in Texas next year. We have our first big meet this Saturday. Hopefully we will have about 15 people show up. Hey it's a start. We are also looking into items to help promote the club/network (i.e. Business cards to tag other Proteges, stickers for our cars, etc) Promote, promote, promote!

Oh well, just thought I would give y'all a little pep talk:rolleyes:

ok, before we even do anything else, we need to pick an exact date for this meet. I'd say the weekend of Sept. 14/15 (Sat/Sun).

I pick 9/14, anybody has a problem with that?

Olney Park or Round Tree Park in Falls Church, VA.

Olney park looks good. The 14th is good as well. Don't have any plans yet as far as I'm aware of.

went and checked out Olney Park and Nottoway Park in Vienna. Both IMO are unfit for hosting a car meet. Olney Park's parking lot is too small, and it's too close to a residence neighborhood. Nottoway Park's parking lot is too far from the picnic area.

I am going to call tomorrow to check the availability of the picnic shelters at Leesylvania State Park, where MAPP2 was held.

I'll keep y'all updated...

I have reserved a picnic shelter at LEESYLVANIA STATE PARK in Woodbridge, VA, for SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2002.

so all planning for the meet will base on this location and date!

i've helped to organize other meets

a good starter is to make a list in a post to this thread of people going and edit it when you add/subtract people...then you can put what food or beverage (no alcohol) they will bring...those that don't bring food/etc. can donate some $$$

you can also ask people to subscribe to the thread so they get an email everytime there is a change
