ZoomZoomH Mar 24, 2003 04:27 PM

do they have any RX-7s there?

redrims Mar 25, 2003 12:34 AM

So are all of you gonna come? I would like to go Wednesday morning or afternoon.

Sorry, I haven't had time to call you Pro00. I'll call you tomorrow.

neerajg Mar 25, 2003 01:48 PM

i'll probably go, depends on what time you wanna go. Just name a time and a place to meet up at, and i should be able to give you guys an answer.

ZoomZoomH Mar 25, 2003 01:49 PM

farking college students, I'm working on Wednesday!!!

redrims Mar 25, 2003 02:19 PM

Are they open on Saturdays? I think we should go next weekend, because even if I go tomorrow, I won't have the money for a transmission yet. But I will next week. I wouldn't want to drive an hour for nothing.

Plus even if I did find a transmission, I will have to hurry and strip it apart so I'm not late for work. I would like to take my time.

So anybody with me for next Saturday? That way Hank can come too.:D

BTW, I drove in an SRT-4 today:D :D :D I'll post pics and the video later. Boy is that car sweet and fast as hell. My heart was skipping beats...lol

F@#k what everyone thinks, that car can handle! And it stops on a dime! A couple times I thought he was gonna rear end ppl.

Hey redrims
can't make it on Saturday

It turns that my freaking manager at work
needs help and decided to add me in without
having the thought of asking me first

so, no do this weekend. I don't know about
next week, I will keep in touch via this thread

Enjoy the junkyard, should be nice weather!

redrims Mar 27, 2003 10:41 PM

Oh, I meant next Saturday anyway. April 5th. Sorry for the confusion.

SLVRSrFER Jul 3, 2004 09:06 AM

Just curious... being as this thread is from last YEAR are you guys still around and do you still find time to go to the junkyard? I need a nice charitable person to find me some 5 lug pattern hubs that will enable my presently 4lug prDX'02 to ride on 5 luggers... Shipping alone is enough to kill me, so... I thought maybe if someone was going anyway and wanted a small tip or something I could weasle some damn expensive crap (shipping) for a relatively small bit of change. :D please-please? hmm.. my mother always told me that word was magic.. how come it never works?

neerajg Jul 3, 2004 10:04 AM

just curious but why do you want to change to 5 lug? most rims you can get in 4 or 5 lug, unless you want like 22s. there is a big brake kit for 4 lug proteges, just curious.

Anyone making a trip any time soon? I need some parts (Grille and tail light - someone hit me) and was wondering if anyone wanted to make the trip with me. PM me back, e-mail me (flyinhawaiian071@netscape.net) or reply to this message. Hope to hear from someone.

Found this thread bout a month ago but it looked pretty useful.

Thanks for the info on the junkyards. I'm going to call a few of them up and see if I can find parts.

If you guys are ever interested in meeting and you're still in the MD, NOVA, DC area check out http://www.msprotege.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=184
