CARLISLE- and the aftermath of me!
 

Well all went well. Me and GroHarlem drove up together Fri. Round 4:00. Got to the motel right after 7:00 then got wil all registerd. They wouldnt let us in the gates to we went and met up with some ppl, Bruce, MopedTrdr, and Dave Potter at the Sleep In (where bruce was staying). That night went well.

Saturday, i went back up to carlisle ( i was stayin in gettysburg over night) met back up with wil and dave. Hank (zoomzoomh) also drive up for the day. Bruce and MopedTrdr got there bout an hour after we did. so we all we chillin. The day went by pretty quick. Wil and Dave did some track time on the little track the fairgrounds had set up. Pretty cool IMO, but small. Then there was teh bikkini contest..WOOT..lots of tig bitties there. LOL. The ladies were Bangin!

After that it was about going on 5:00. We went and got some McDonalds (me, wil,bruce and bruce's friend). When we got back the "Burn-Out" Contest had been going on. Me and bruce raced up to see it when we got back to the show. 1 civic was doin a burn out when we got there, then u heard a bang (ther goes the one tire) and then another boom (there went the engine). LOL Then they had some milder burnouts, more to the middle, there was another civic with donuts on the front (spares) within a min or 2 both blew..tire pieces flew everywhere.
There were 2 really good ones. 1 was a new Dakota RT 5.9l V8. THat shit lit up and was constant. Loved it. But i think the winner was gunna be this old Jetta. Started the burn out in 1st (duh) then went threw all 5!!! Gears. 2-3-4-5. Then everyone thought he was gunna stop but NOOO. he down shifted...5!!!! Gears. 5-4-3-2-1 then stoped. The crowd went roaring!!! it was IMO the best.

Bruce got plenty of pics, wil got some but his digi cam battery died so he got some.

Closer to the end of the night everyone was leaving. I told the four of us with proteges to line up. Hopefully Bruce will post em. They looked tight. We were all waiting from 7:00pm til almost 10:30pm to get out. And it was cold as balls too. We stoped by McDonalds again to get something to eat then i went back and got my car from the motel (where it had sat all day, cause i didnt want to pay parking or entrance fees, jus cruised in with wil).

On the way back to gettysburg, where i was going to stay with my family, something happened. I was on Rt 34 Leaving Carlisle. Through the town there were cops every street corner and in every alley. At one of the readlights, i was stoped, when it turned green i accidently chipred the wheels. A cop pulled out. Thank GOD he didnt pull me over. But when i got outta the town, Still on RT 34. I was comin around a bend, the speed limit was 45, then around the corner the speed limit dropec to 35, pus in was a Decline. I was on the brake slowing down, when the Cop flew out and flipped on his Lights.
By this point my heart was pounding, and i had 15mins till my 12:00 privisional license curfew. :o In MD, you can go 10-15mph over the speed limit w/o being stoped, The cop clocked me doin 46mph in a 35. First of all WTF. i was braking and slowing down AND STILL!!!. Pissed me off. I was very kind and considerate to the officer and all. Never a lil "Warning" and let me off the hook thing. Instead it was a $117 Ticket!!!!! Now come on, for 11 over the speed limit. ITs kinda high. Im goin to court for taht SHit!

Pissed me off.:mad: Other than that the weekend went awsome.

OH, about the little "Driving Back to Gettysburg BS!" Thats all my moms doing. A few months ago she told me i could go up there and stay with some of the guys. WIthin the last few weeks she said i had to come back to gettysburg for the night( where they were camping). I was like WTF. So....therefore if i would of been staying in Carlisle, this Ticket BS would of never happened. cause i wouldnt of been driving.
