Going to Buy a P5
Hey Guys/Girls
I need a little help, im going to buy a P5 at the end of next month, now what i am curious about is pricing everyone has received on their purchase. My last quote was $24,224.50 for a 03 Sunburst Yellow A/C Moonroof Block Heater (damn you definetly need one of these in calgary and i dont think they sell them without) all at the 0% financing for 4 years..... My question is simple: Is this a good price or should i still be shopping around? Both Kramer and Sunridge seem to really want my buisness, so.... Thanks |
I would say, Phone up NorthHill Mazda and ask to talk to a salesperson. Ken is a good one who works there. Tell him the price and see what he can do for you. I couldn't hurt to have everyone competing for you hard earned dollars.
I am not friends with ken but he's sold my family 2 cars and gave me the best value for my trade in. |
hey go to kramer! i work there, just say i sent you and they will give you a a good deal, my name is Emmanuel BTW, i drive a silver P5
|
ha, dood i think thats where im going to buy it from, Denis is my salesman.... is that price i quoted above a good price? or should I try to keep dealing? ....
my other question to the comunity here is: Should i get that 3m protection stuff for front end of my car, fog lights, and mirrors???? Thanks Guys! |
well i bought mine at kramer.. Alan Onagi he's a good dealer too.
well its up to you if you want that m3 protection.. if i were you personally i'll go to shadow tint at 39ave S.E,, $80 for the mirrors, foglights and oh eah the front bumper too. hope this helps.. I just have that anti theft thing in kramer $300. ________ Dripping Pussy Juice |
How much are your monthly payments?
|
|
Cool, ill call that shadow tint place.... my monthly's @ 0% for 4 years was $400.50 which is not to bad, but thats with 5g down as well on it... i wanted to lower the price monthly a little and have the cash in the bank so.... Thanks all for the feedback
|
you can go lower on the monthly payments. I'm payin 410 w/ 4.9% and 1500 down for 5 years.
|
Thats about par with whats on the "build your own" section on the mazda.ca website. I think you can do a better deal especially with 5 g's down. Just for comparison, go to the other 2 stealerships in town and see what they can do.

i have gone to Sunridge and they are about the same for the car, i was quoted $23,300 plus tax for it, Kramer is quoting me $24,224.50 including tax which then becomes $22,639.72 with out tax - which is $507.74 above what they want from the mazda webpage.... im soooo friggen confused right now and i think Kramer is ripping me off....
The salesperson keeps calling like every day.... Thanks |
Just hang tight. Are you in a rush to buy it? Have them fight over each other. You have to set a budget for yourself. Then walk in w/ the number in mind to all the dealers. Let them talk.
|
Good call. I guess im not in a rush to buy, would be nice to have a/c with this damn heat.... $400.51/mnth for 4 years is not a bad price, and thats with the 0%... im wondering if that offer is really going to end at the end of july, i guess thats my only concern, cause 0% is wicked... i think im going to go to NorthHill tommorow and talk to a salesperson, as well as call Sunridge. I think i was talking to someone named Tony at sunridge..... im also going to call lethbridge and reddeer.... Wish me luck, thanks again.

Now that you have a general idea of what there asking, pit them against each other like what Funky Budda said.
Something to remember; it's getting near the end of the month and the dealerships are looking to fill there quota. They will be more willing to move on prices then at the beginning of the month plus car sales in general are poor now. Another tip that may help, have someone with you when negotiating the price. That person can help keep you grounded and may also point out things that you have missed or forgotten. Bottom line, buy what your comfortable with and can afford. KB:cool: |
