Howzit and Aloha ppl!

New to the board, got a new Pro5 3 weeks ago.

As for the club I think we should not really "START" a club but rather start a "Community" first of just a place where people can come and "talk story" about our cars and other things.
In fact, i helped start and grow my old "club/Bboard" from my old car that we grew from 5 people to over 30+cars/people in 1 years time!! (My FocalJet name was HawaiianFocusR)
In fact, you can see my post about selling my car to buy a new one...hrm...which one could that be??

We did this just by GETTING the word out and casually mentioning the bulletin board to everyone. In fact on our last big G2G (get together) we had over a quarter mile of Focus' on the cruise! We are also featured on SpeedHawaii.com under "Clubs", and to do that you gotta be pretty big.

SO YEAH, im here to pioneer THIS and i already see about 4 other people already from Hawaii that are on this board. There are people here in Hawaii and in the mainland who fricken LOVE their PRO5's/Protege's as much as I do and just want to TALK STORY. No need to be heavily modded or RACE or go into SHOWS just communicate the most casual way possible; over the internet. No need for big g2g's just yet, just a place that everyone can access and communicate! No offense to TeamPro5 but so far they haven't emailed me back in a few weeks and all i see is a few guys driving around with TeamPro5 stickers on their cars. Again, im just here to find MORE and MORE Hawaii people who love their Pro5s/Proteges as much as I DO.

So if you love your Pro5/Pro and you know friends, family, heck even strangers you see with their Protege's mention this website!!!! And damn, im not talking just PRO5's people, im talking ALL protege's!! This island is FULL OF THEM and they've been around, like, forever!! Im sure this club can be 10x bigger than FocalJet, believe me!

So lets do this!!!! I've already been "pimping" my first Pro5 recruit to this board; my roomates girlfriend And Ill do it alone or whatever, this post is the first of many I promise that, and i hope there will be more soon!

Yuuuuup, lovin the Pro5. I've always liked Mazdas for their simplicity and reliability. But nothing beats the RX's. Too bad i bought my Focus a year too early i shouldve waited for the Pro5 debut. Anywayz i got one now and im smilin ear to ear. Its pretty much everything i expected and more "fun" wise.

Anyhoo, right now I live in Salt Lake. Used to live in downtown.

Brah your "Punani Lover" thing keeps crackin me up!! Niiiiiice!

How you like your pro5 so far? I noticed your front silver grilles there. NICE! Also looked like you lowered it too. So what you got on man?? I didnt see a signature so im curious.

Oh yeah, more importantly, how did you find out about this board? This is a good way to figure out where ppl are comin from.

Let's see, I've had this car for 2 years and 2 months. I like it alot except for the power output "Wish there was alot more!". I'm running Ground Control coilovers, Kumho Ecsta 712's, my own made grills and ground splitters on front, Alpine deck, Crystal tweeters, Kenwood amps and eq, 2 10" esx subs in a box, Senkyo low beam bulbs. I'm currently working on my own cold air induction system, and gonna try some other stuff in Carbon fiber. Daily driver for me so I don't get on it too much, would like to run a turbo but out of the question for now. My real "Race car" is a 79 Camero that use to run in the 12's, but I took her all apart and trying to put her back together looking for the 10 second range with the new mods. I've been into hotrods all my life so it's different to work on something with only 4 cyls! I recently put on a R-1 Titanium muffler and some 2 1/4" pipe from the flange back also. Talk to ya later!

Don't wanna sidetrack this thread, but i agree. I JUST bought bulbs for the lows, highs, and fogs *hell ya!* But i made sure to stick near to stock wattage. But anyway, if we want to, we should start a new thread. Thanks.

Shooot, sorry for replying so late guys. Things have been hectic for me, and oh yeah my last SCCA race this past Sunday was KICKASS!!!! Ill post a thread later.

Anyway, im down for a G2G anytime, Sundays are good. A good place to meet up thats pretty central is ToysRus Pearlridge. Just a suggestion.

Wether its 3 or 30 man ill be there!!! Shooots!
