Right now I'm using Ground Control Coil overs with the Eibach springs they came with...

The installation was easy, but you gotta make sure you keep them well oiled (the adjustable nut that raises and lowers the car) because they get frozen to the thread, and you need to beat the things with a hammer to get them to move ;)

Also, if the rubber ring isn't in the right spot between the threaded cylinder and the strut, the stupid things clank around inside the wheel well and make all sorts of noise.

Other than that, I like the Eibach springs, it gives me a much better ride than some other sport springs I've used... if they're installed properly, and well kept.. the GC Coil Overs are a great way to slam your ride , and still be able to raise or lower it as you please :bt:

Otherwise, if you've got the cash... buy the real deal from AWR.

I've got the H&R springs on my 2000 dx, and love them. It's a mild drop (1.3" advertised, lowers a bit more once they're broken in) with the stock struts right now. Gonna go with the e-spec's from corksport once I get some extra cash.

Eibach pro-kit, but i wanna go lower, at least in the front.

MazdaSpeed struts, Eibach pro kit springs, and AWR rear stabilizer bar. The struts are great because they are adjustable, much more important to me than height adjustability. I'll be changing to Racing Beat springs and front and rear stabilizer bars as soon as I get the time to change them. The stabilizer bars are the best part, even with just the rear bar right now, the car has noticably less body roll.

ZX2-R Tokico Struts w/Eibach Pro Kit Spings

Looking at possibly the ZX2-R Coilover Kit and custom camber plates...

Suspension

I'm running Mazdaspeed adj. struts (polyurethane bump stops and dust boots) with H&R sport springs. Also running a Racing Beat MP3 rear sway bar with custom end links, polyurethane bushings. I have also installed custom end links on the front OEM sway bar. Up top an MP3 strut tower bar. Thinking about trying the AWR bar and I have a new strut tower bar on the way (more flashy than the MP3 bar). As soon as the upper strut adj. pillow ball mounts are available from JIC-Magic I'll be running those on the front.

Very true, the maintanence will be tedious...another thing to think about when the time comes...but just dreaming for now :p
