Time required for install
~ how long does it take to install springs?
|
On my first gen (shouldn't be much different), it took me about 2-3 hours to change my springs and struts. But I got to use a lift :) The first corner took a while because we had to get the upgraded thrust bearings to work, which you don't have to do.... The backs took about 10-15 min each, very quick.
Shouldn't take long at all if you know what you're doing. Prolly around 2-4 hours without air tools or lift. |
I did it alone... jacking one corner of the car up at a time and using spring a manual compressor. Took me a day and a half. First spring install of my life though.:)

well, i finished, it was a pain tho, because i got the wrong kinda spring compresser (morons at kragen) so i had to jack dad's car and go over there that took me a good hour, but total work time i would say about....5 hours, that is with me accidentally decompressing the spring into my friends hand and the axle (loooong story) so he was pretty pissed about that
and along with me bein and idiot, if finally finished it looks nice |
good job. it took me a good 5-6 hours taking my time using
