stock pr5 suspention?
who else thinks the stock pr5 suspention is too cadilac/granny like?
im contemplating on getting eibachs but if i do i have to replace the shocks and i don't wanna blow that much money. ________ Vaporizer reviews |
damn i would hate to drive any other car in the class then, its probably that im just used to the car's handling, i tend to push it around corners when either ricer intergras or stupid matrix's are tailgating me. Corners are the pr5's best friend :)

For daily around town driving the P5 has a very nice tight suspension. Sure, it's not a track suspension, but it is one of the stiffer ones on the market for this class of car. It was the main reason I bought a P5 when I was looking at them.

You should have an edge on the Matrix in the corners even in stock trim. I thought the P5 was pretty damn good stock, its also the main reason I bought mine. Yet there's always room for improvement, and those improvements to the suspension are the best way to spend any money on a P5 right now.

I think for a stock suspension it's the perfect mix of sport vs comfort. I'd like to go something more track friendly, but for now this suspension more than holds its own!! |
Nuke nailed it. I left the power of my 97 Nissan SR20DE for the stock rails that the p5 turns on. It dazzles the heck out of me every time I drive. My Nissan had shortened coilovers/strut and shock mounts/poly bushings/strut bar...and the p5 would probably have no trouble staying in it's shadow. (except on the straights) man I miss that engine

Yeah, the Protege's suspension is already pretty damn stiff. Go out and test drive a Buick or something then come back to your Pro. What a difference, LOL...

The suspension is pretty tight. I have driven many different cars in its class and even some that are priced 2 to 3 times the cost. And from going around turns and twist, this car handles very well, I also love to see the other driver's looks when I am able to take a corner at twice their speed.:D (meaning not slowing down, I always follow the speed limit:winky:
