Stainless Brake Lines???

I keep reading posts about the benefits of stainless brake lines, and can't wait to put 'em on my P5. I loved them on my Miata.

But has anyone FOUND ANY YET?? I saw one or two posts about a group buy in - like - October or something, and that seems to have died.

Where can we get DIRECT FIT (no adapters or other crap) stainless lines for the Pro5? I'm not running ABS, BTW, so that is not an issue.

Don't know of any stainless brake lines out yet but if you want better quality just get the adapters and make the line yourself from some -4AN Aeroquip line that way you have proven reliability and if something goes wrong you know how to fix it...also you have those great blue and red fittings:bt:

SS lines

FYI,
I've been trying to get SS lines for a Gen3 Pro from Goodridge though Corksport for several months now. Seems Goodridge assigned a part number for the lines but never really made them. Last I heard it will be three or four months from now before the kit is available, unless some one has a set of OEM lines they could send Corksport so that Goodridge will have a model to make them from.

LOL!!!! There aren't very many DIY guys on this board.

Another alternative is to call around to the local machine shops until you find one that can make hoses for you.

After finding one, pull your original brake lines off and take them in there. They can make a replica out of stainless steel lines. They'll be as good as anything that you purchase premade, maybe even better.

Bruce, I think I already emailed that guy and he said "no" as far as drilled rotors for the P5, and said something about "adapters" for stainless lines.

I'm looking for true-fit lines, and I don't think his guy has 'em yet either.

I contacted Goodridge directly. I measured my stock lines and told them the fittings I needed and they made them for me.
