Which springs to buy?

Hey everyone. I have no knowledge of suspension, and plan to get any suspension mod installed by a professional (friend of a friend). I found these 3 springs on eBay, tell me what you guys think:

Tein S-Tech Lowering Springs -> TEIN

Intrax Lowering Springs -> INTRAX

Eibach Springs Pro-Kit / Sportline -> EIBACH

Thanks guys!

Eibach Pro's

I second the Eibach Pro's. Lowered the car enough for handling and looks. The 18" rims fit and look tight. The Wife didnt complain LOL. Truely the ride improved over stock and the handling is super. Price was 215 shipped.

I've got intrax and they are awesome I've had them for about 9 months and the ride does get a bit stiff, not bouncy and the handling is outstanding compared to when the car was stock

I like my Eibach's. In my opinion the ride is better since I put them on.

eibach pro-kit. no alternatives. :D you can use your stock
shocks. the spring rate actually matches the shocks better
than the stock linear springs, imo. no bouciness at highspeeds.
i did encounter a tad bit of wandering feel (vs my other modded
cars) so i got a rear sway bar and it really sharpened everything.

prokit: $250
rear sway bar: $180-200

best investment on the car, imo.

Thanks everyone! I decided to go with the Eibach Pros. Came out pretty cheap, a little less than $200.

I appreciate everyone's help. Thanks!

btw, what size rims/tires do you guys have on your dropped cars?

I've got a blue MP3 and decided to go for the SPOOL springs. They lower 2 inches all around, and ride just like the stock MP3 springs. I have yet to scrape anything riding into a driveway, and I am happy!!!

thanks everyone! the help is greatly appreciated. i cant wait to get the springs installed. there's still going to be a gap (im riding on 15's. hell yea!), but that will change when i get my 17's (one day.. *sigh*)

thanks again!

Doomer. will thoughs springs you have " SPOOLS " work on the Sedans? OR are they only for mp3s?

Doomer_MP3 May-9th-2003 10:40 AM

They will work for any 3rd gen. The only benefit is that the MP3s struts may last a little longer with the drop than stock shocks on a ES or P5...

Here are some pics of my MP3 with the SPOOL springs:

The rears have settled a bit more since I took those pics.
