ride height after MSP springs install

hi everyone, I just got my MSP springs on my 2003 lx and I hve a slight problem. The gap between the tire and the fender is bigger in the front than the back. Anyone have any ideas why this happened or what I could do to fix it
thanks

it's because the Racing Beat springs lowers the front 3/4" and the rears 7/8"....it's supposed to look like that.

ibanez78 June-29th-2004 08:09 PM

ook so that's normal, next question, is there anything that could be done? if i were to install MSP struts would that even things out?

Roddimus Prime June-29th-2004 08:11 PM

possibly....you're going to like those struts...I'm addicted to them!

The struts are great pieces, yes, but I don't foresee them evening the car out. There was a thread awhile back that they actually raised the car. Good luck ;)

nothing can be done to that except to get a different spring...racing beat springs were made for cars with a 2.0 in the front, and they have more weight than us 1.6 ers...If you look at more than just wheel gap though, your car actually sits level now, instead of up on its hauncehs in the back

The wheel arch sits lower on the "belt-line" of the car in back than it does in front, if both gaps are even the car will sit in the stock "stink-bug" attitude, something I've never cared for. Consider the side door mouldings a good reference point, they should still have a nose down rake to them, just less so.

goldlines are $140.00 shipped and drop it 2.0" all the way around
