P5 Spring Rates

Did a search and looked at the FAQ and found nothing useful.

Does anyone know the spring rates for the STOCK springs in the P5?

Thanks.

I don't know the factory rates, but I do know the P5 has the firmest rear springs of the bunch, firmer(and a tad shorter too) than the ES. The front springs, oddly, are all identical given the same motor/tranny combo (ex: 2.0L with 5 speed, DX LX ES P5). I thought there was a spring rate chart in here somewhere that compared some Eibachs et al and it showed the stock rates. Mazda is very protective of the info for some reason.

Thanks for the reply. Buddy of mine sent me this. Is this the chart you're talking about?

Yes, that's it. It's a really great chart, but for stock it simply says "sedan", so I don't know if that's an '02 ES or what, and all the stock rear springs are slightly different, going from softest (DX) to firmest (P5). But I'm sure the stock differences are slight anyway, and the chart is for knowing "where to go" instead of "where I was."

Yeah, I forgot to mention that this was "notwithstanding the special edition MSP/MP3 versions" of course. Rats
