new eibach's

Just had new Eibach springs (prokit) installed on my 2003.5 Pro5. Cannot believe the handling difference especially on the on-off ramps! I use the sport A/T in manual mode to keep the revs in the power band (it's great to shift while having your foot still on the gas). Virtually no difference on the highway (I commute 80 miles per day). Lowered just enough to be roadworthy with family inside (wife thinks I'm crazy- but, heh, it's MY car and the kids love the handling, too!) and looks great. Next project- painting the brake calipers with the help of my 14 y.o. auto-crazed son.

Great car!

Black mica, leather, sport A/T, polished wheels, Eibach springs, stock head with Alpine amp, Fosgate sub.

rubber

Now try the difference with set of wider rims and better rubber. I put the rims and rubber on first for a week, then the springs came in. So basically it got better, then damn fun.

Sounds good...I think I'll make the Eibachs my next mod :).

hi! wondering how your pro-kits are presently holding up. I will be dropping some money down for the eibach pro-kit too! :)

I have put 20,000 miles on the Eibachs 50/50 highway/local roads (around here are generally good). The stock struts are still fine. The shocks have not deteriorated at all. They are fantastic. Worth the extra cost over competition. For the slight increase in overall firmness you gain a lot of handling. Very well made springs. BTW, get them professionally installed.

Just installed mine yesterday. The ride is great. Hard to believe but on the highway my car takes the little road bumps MORE smoothly than the stockers. And of course, I had to test them out this morning on a little twisty near my office---what a difference!

Eibachs seem to be a good allaround springs! How much did the install cost? I checked with a shop that was charging about $500.00 including alignment.

I installed them with a friend with very little trouble. Took about three hours.
The only problem we ran into was one of the rear struts had the lower bolts in backwards
for some weird reason and we had to take the caliper off, too. Otherwise, no prob.
500.00 is way too high.
I checked with one performance shop, a reliable one, they wanted 100.00 for the install. I almost would have done it but they also wanted ~235.00 for the springs plus shipping.
