My Strut Bar
 

Hello ....
Finally i got myself a strut bar .... and i show it to you people also ... it costs 52 USD and i can feel a difference ... my car is stiffer and now i am just waiting for the chance to get on the track :)

Ahh you're lucky no cruise control, or else you'd have the WORST time putting on that strut bar... I had to return mine, because I would of ended up remoding the entire brackets... thats why I'm making a custom one... hehe...

wow i actually liek the basic look of that one. where di dyou get that from i wouldnt mine getting one.

That strut bar (on the P5 above) will fit any 3rd gen right?

It looks nice and all, but I just have one question for ya...WHAT THE HELL EXPLODED UNDER YOUR HOOD? It looks like you left the Pot Roast on the engine block just a TAD TOO LONG! HAHAHAHAHAHA...The bar looks good though, seeing as how it is the cleanest thing under there.:bt:

Our autumn is very raini and spring is also wet because all the snow is melting ...

And my hobbie is racing in every mans rally ( people with their normal cars are racing against each other on gravel, mud , tarmac, snow ... just like real rally only weaker cars :) ) with my car.

And thats why my cars under hood looks like ... dont know the word :P ... but say you this that i just washed it :laugh:

That looks good and sturdy. What is it made out of?

It is made from 3mm metal sheet .... inside is empty.

How heavy is it?

I am not sure but it should be lighter than aftermarket part.

any chance you're thinking about making more/ selling them?

been looking for the racing beat springs and a strut bar - i think corksport is sold out and that's the closest place to me (canada)!?!

I think there is no use for making them because sending them to US or Canada is very expensive .... considering the price of the bar itself .. I think it would be double.

Cause I live in Estonia which is at the other side of the globe.

hmm, TheMAN, you mean the MP3 bar? is it the same as the P5 bar? i checked out your FAQ (thanks for writing it up!) and it's listed separately (MP3 bar and P5 bar) ... i have AC too! will that be a problem?

so any official mazda dealer would have it right?! any guess @ the price of it?

Have you had a Corksport bar fail, or know someone else who has? I'm wondering because I've had one on my '00 ES for some time now. I haven't had any problems with it, and it definitely tightened up the front end and improved steering response in my car. As a matter of fact, I think it bent my right front rim last winter when I ran over a pot hole covered by snow. Be careful passing judgement on products you don't have any direct knowledge of, you may be giving other people incorrect advise.
