the front went from 14 3/8" to 12 3/4" and the rear went from 14 1/2" to 12 7/8" so someone correct me here if I am wrong (b/c math wasnt my best subject haha) that would be about a 1.6" drop all around.

its definatly a noticeable difference.. and its soooo much more fun to drive now :)

we bought the springs from new edge performance... I think I'm the first one to have them... who knows?

I was looking at these before I bought my Spool springs. Both advertise a 2" drop front & rear.

That was the height right after being lowered... so Im sure it has settled some since then... Id be happy either way :)

If you watch any racing (road racing and some ralleye) in the UK then you will know who the big guys are... names like Progress, Leda, H&R and others. Progress and Leda are the best springs and suspension folks in my books, and H&R come in close second!

And so no one has heard of TEIN? One of if not the best suspension company from the JDM market. In addition to Eibach who has been one of if not the leading name in the world wide market for a while.

I like Eibach for most protege applications Because it has one of the least drop depths, being 1.4 in the front and 1.2 in the back (mp5) as there is a point where performance will suffer or stop being benefited from a lowered stance. Lowering the CG is the point, not scraping on the ground.

And lastly alot of people over look the spring rates of the sets they are buying and simply go by the actual drop numbers. Spring rate is just as important.
