hey guys need opinions on some all seasons
hey guys.. i'm from toprotege.com..
anyway i really need to get a new set of all seasons as mine are bald and one of 'em just went flat on me. im' tryin to decide between the toyo TPT's and a set of BF goodrich ones. the toyos are gonna run me $620cdn (tax/install/balance included).. the BF goodriches will run me about 500. any opinions? the toyos are V rated, the BF's are S rated. I realize that neither is gonna perform well in the snow, but right now i 'm riding on stock bald dunlops |
have you tried www.tiretrendscom? you save pst by buying through them.......
|
actually i just checked their price and you are getting a pretty good deal they sell those toyos for even more then what you got quoted.
|
yeah i decided to go with the toyos as I got quoted a really good price. They won't have the tires in for about 10 days so the guy threw on a used dunlop 5000 on my car in the meantime (no extra charge).
can't wait to try them out. i'm not expecting much in snow but they should do great in wet/dry conditions. Thanks for the reply eltonr |
i went with the toyo tpt (from OK TIRE) about 2 months ago and hey are awesome! i'm in calgary and find them great on ice and packed snow but haven't had any deep fresh snow yet to try them on. below -25 they do, however, get pretty hard and slick but still about A MILLION times better than the crap dunlops the car came with.
the toyos in warm weather are great, btw and when the roads are wet i do not experience ANY hydroplaning anymore. i paid $165 cdn per tire including mount and balance |
dood that is great news! I can't wait to get these shiznits on my car!
