Confidence is high. It is not a squiffy ebay walk-in-the-dark...

[watching for the mailman...]

Uh, i saw other pro models/years too at the site. The Tokicos seem pretty 'universal' (most struts are. If you are not lower already - get the package.

I gotta get sone for my girls 1999 when I find some rims I plan on doing the springs and struts at the same time.

so, i gathered up and ordered the Tokico HP from jdmwerks13 on ebay for 359/shipped.

I would like to know, from who have installed this, what and how much difference it makes over stock springs. Right now i'm on a setup with TEIN-S techs with stocker strusts and the struts are going bad, (perfect timing one might say) and i'm getting a lot of body lean when i'm hard cornering.

also, does the HP's do anything to the ride height at all? i'm sure it doesn't, but i still wanted to ask to make sure.

thanks in advance,

WooHoo!
Got 'em yesterday (i played hooky and got them while i was doing the brakes...).

Good response - good dealer - i'd recommend them.

centsless-
They won't affect ride height (springs do that). They are only slightly firmer than OEM - but still very comfortable to drive. The car feels 'tighter' now (in a good way!). BTW: My front driver's side strut was blown. 68K on the car with ~10K on the lower springs ...

They should match well with the springs you have. Do it.

thanks for the update, i did order them and i will do the install next weekend with my perp for the summer.
i'm at aroung 15k on the Teins on stock strust and they are almost shot. good to know that the ride is very firm, i'm looking forward for that.

thanks once again,

Uh oh. I have a 'rattle' from the left rear now... I am quites sure everything was tight...

Could it be the strut 'cover' i transfered over to the new strut? If it is 'loose' would the strut cylinder body hit it if it was too 'low'?
