? Gen3 sedan corner weight/ GC spring weight.?

Hay guys I'm thinking about get some GC coilovers for my 99 1.6L Pro. Question is does anybody know the stock corner weights for the gen 3 sedans?

Also I'd like to hear form the Protégé autoxers out there their suggestions for spring rates and lengths? I'm using Mazdaspeed adj struts and would like to be able to have GC coilovers that start at stock ride height then lower from there. Not looking to slam the car but rather better handling capabilities for autoxing and some smoothness for daily driving don't mind stiff suspension in fact kind of like it.
Thanks in advance

FYI did first autox with Turbo YAHOO:)!

ok i think im confused with something

handling is different from the ability to take a corner faster ?

Thanks guys, I Called GC and got hook up!

Contacted GC today and with the info I gave them they hooked me right up with some coilovers. The coilovers should fit nice and tight on my Mazdaspeed struts and have stiff enough spring rates to not be to stiff but offer great handdling for AutoXing. Plus I can take advantage of the massivae amount of neg. camber offered by the camber/caster plates. I tried installing the plates with H&R springs with the stock top hats and couldn't get nothing out of them cuase the spring hat would hit the inside of the sturt towers. Made an awefull sound when trunning.
Again thanks
FYI springs will give me stock ride height at the max height with 450lbs spring in front and 350lbs springs in the back.

I hope you like it stiff, cause you're gonna be. Those front springs would be go if you were road racing. And I wonder whether the front Mazdaspeeds will have enough rebound damping to control that much spring, without turning the struts all the way up and ruining both the ride and the handling.

My understanding is that the higher you go with spring rates, the lower you want to go with compression damping and the higher you go with the rebound damping.

The hot ticket on Miatas that are in stock is to run minimal compression damping to get them on the bumpstops quickly (they corner on them anyway), and then use lots of rebound damping to control the car on the bumpstops (which are REALLY high rate springs).

Hope they don't turn out to be too stiff. And I hope you're on race tires, as those spring rates will tend to overload street tires on the autocross course.

BTW, GC is pretty clueless about cars they don't sponsor.

biknman, how do you like your selected spring rates? just curious. I'm planning on getting custom spring rates also.
