For those who have one ...

I'm wondering how much you guys paid for an OEM strut bar in Canada ? Also, did you buy your from a Mazda dealer ?

Thanks

Not sure about the OEM strut bar, but you should be able to pick up the Ractive one for around $50-$75cdn

You can buy the kit in the US for $99-$135 USD.

You CANNOT buy the kit in Canada. You can buy all the parts in the kit for ~$400CDN (pre-tax).

You are better off ordering from www.mazdastuff.com ($99USD) and paying exchange, shipping and brokerage (standard cross-border rape).

If you plan on buying an aftermarket bar AND you have cruise control note that most (all?) aftermarket bars will NOT fit properly. Make sure you verify from the vendor that it will fit with a sedan cruise control bracket (most makers of bars seem to be unaware of the difference between the sedan and the wagon, aka Protege5 - everything is designed around the P5.)

The voice of experience has spoken! ;)

When you're talking about the full kit, you mean the Stabilizer Bar Kit for 2001-2 Protege ? 'Cause that kit does not include the Strut Tower Bar  ?

For my case, I do have a cruise control on my sedan, so I wanna buy the OEM one... I don't want to take any chance :D !!! So what you're saying is that I'm better off ordering it in US ? My dealer is not gonna be able to order one for me or the price will be too expensive ?

Thanks
