Front end ticking

Hi
I have ticking noise coming from front wheel are. It's heard better when wheel is turned right(I think it ticks when going straight too). I believe it's too early(30K km) for bearings to go, any ideas before I part with car for the day for the service?
Thanks for any help
Alex

this may sound off-the-wall, but do you have something metal stuck in your tire? I ran over a bottle cap once, and it stuck in just enough to hang on, but not hurt the tire. It still made this annoying tapping sound until I noticed it and pulled it out.

Not off the wall at all. Hey that rhymes :D It's happened to me before. I've had a car key stuck in my tire and it made the same noise. It could also be a torn boot on your axle causing the noise.

yeah it will make a noise if you're CVs are ready to leave the building.

If its light ticking look for a rock in the tread. Had the same thing several times.

Thanks for help, noice was eliminated-CV boot was rubbing against itself when wheels were turned. I am surprised, that they are not made of rubber-something between hard rubber and plastic?
I sprayed silicone lube and noise went away. So tip for everyone-pull front wheels off and put silicone lube on all boots you see-CV, steering and axle. Do not spray on brake disks!
