eibach vs h&r springs?

what are your opinions on eibach prokits and h&r sports?

pros/cons ?

still deciding on which one to get

Okay, I have had experience with both companies progressive rate springs.

first off I had Neuspeeed sport springs on my '94 civic ex coupe about 6 years ago and now I have Eibachs pro kit on my protege5. They are both similar in ride quality with the Neuspeed(H&R) springs just a bit more stiffer. But then again the civic had 17 inch wheels and 205/40/17 tires. still have the OEM wheels on my protege5.

Damn, now that I think of it. wheel and tire prices have come down tremendously since then. I paid $2300 for 16 inch chrome anteras wrapped in toyos and $2500 for 17 inch fittipaldi lagunas wrapped in toyo t1s. Now you can 17's with tires for less then $800. SHIT. and those were some heavy ass wheels. O'well both sets of wheels been stolen a long time ago anyhow. the anteras only lasted 2 weeks.

from what i've heard

Hi!
I've heard that eibach springs sag pretty fast, usually within the first year of usage. And also that the spring rate is not constant. Some springs come out with a difference of +-30lbs away from the specs spring rate.
H&R on the otyher hand, may be a little more expensive, but they are a real good deal. They have good endurance, and the spring rate is constant.
That's what I've heard from a good speed shop around here...if you have other info for me don't hesitate, since I dint buy my springs yet!
Hope it helps!

That sounds backwards. From what I've heard, H&R may sag sooner. Eibach is considered a better brand than H&R although H&R isnt considered a bad brand. And price wise, Eibach is higher.
