Eibach Vs H&R ?
Hey,
So here is the deal I bought the Tom's motorsports coilovers and had nothing but problems with them. First that tops of the coils dont fit the strut shaft right, making a clanking noise all the time. Second I blew out the supplied bearings in two weeks!!! But I digress.... now I am trying to find out about what you think about springs. Let me know if you have any experience with either of these products. |
i love my h&r's.
mild drop.. but noticeable when parked next to a stock third gen. http://www.logicdesigning.com/miscim...entsofdrop.jpg this picture was taken almost a year ago... i might re-do my measurements today, and see what i come up with. :) |
Yo Dre..what's up man!! Glad you found your way onto the boards dude.

eibach's Vs. H&R, they feel about the same, the drop is a tad more with the H&R. and i think the eibachs are more expensive,
the real question is.. which decal looks better on your car? Eibach of H&R? |
Be a man and cut your springs.

Originally posted by PseudoRealityX H&Rs are usually a little more aggressive as far as spring rates. |

Thanks for the straight answers PseudoRealityX. I was wondering the same thing. I really don't want too harsh of a ride as I have a new baby girl(!), and I thought the H&Rs were the least stiff. :)
Would you(or anyone) give me your opinion on who makes the least aggressive springs? I'd like to stiffen things up a little bit, but not a lot, and I really like the drop that the H&Rs give the car(I think it's 1.3" all 'round). I rode in a couple of Proteges with JIC coilovers and I'd like to get as close to that ride as I can...without dropping two g's. Thanks. Nate |
Hey guys
Here's an article from Tire Rack comparing both HR and Eibachs. http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/t...bach_hr_rd.htm |
Can I just add springs and not do anything else to my car? Thanks
