Coilovers or Springs????

I have been thinking of getting coilovers , but havent heard anything good about the ones i can afford... cant afford jic . so i was gonna get the eibach pro kit... but does anyone have anything good to say about the Ground Control coilovers??

or why i should get spring over coilovers, or vice versa

im going to put 18'' wheels on ,, just so you know.

It depends on what you are looking to do. GC will allow you to adjust the ride height which springs will not. So if you plan on lowering the car considerably more 1.4" or whatever the springs you want lower, you have to go with coil overs.

But go with springs. The GCs are no better for handling at the same ride height level as the Eibach Pro-kit, and if you lower more it increases the spring rates and will destroy your struts faster, plus clank and rattle on bigger bumps. If you are going to race the car or something and are planning on upgrading the car with adjustable struts, the GC may be a better bet. You will be able to dial in the spring rates/ride height with the proper dampening levels...

Also check your sig..."Their" is used in place of "there" in terms of possession...;)

Also a little side note to think about....

I would go with coil overs in any instance that I could. I put lowering springs on my eclipse, and should you ever happen to break down, its a sever PITA to get it towed. You need a flatbed with extra planks to decrease the angle of attack so you don't bottom out. I could have towed it myself on a tow dolley if I only had coil-overs and could have adjusted the ride height back up. Just a little something to think about....
