camber problems
 

Has anybody who droped there MP3's Or MP5's had a problem with camber I think I can see a slight negative. Is this bad its only like ( l )this being 90 deg mine is probably about 80 or 85 deg. negative camber.

Thanks buddy I am not real sure about camber it may only be 2 deg. I was just estimating. Do you think I should take it to mazda they want like 65.00 bucks for a 4 tire.

Maybe it's location but dealers around here usually charge more than say a Merchant Tire Zone or the like. I usually wait until I get coupon packets in the mail that give you a free oil change or $10 off with an alignment, but that's just me.

If you want to "work the system" a little bit, get an alignment job from one of the places that has a warranty. That way when/if you adjust your ride height, you can just take it back and get it re-aligned. Of course if you do it too many times they will catch on... :)

You don't have 5 to 10 degrees of camber in either direction with the stock strut suspension unless something is severly bent. Lowering springs won't change the camber anywhere near that much on our suspensions. For $65 for a 4 wheel alignment from a Mazda dealer, I would do it. Are you sure that's for all 4 wheels?

I had my car aligned after I installed my H&R's in my p5 and they adjusted to -1° camber, just for handling purposes. Its not noticeable when you look at it, and it its still within Mazda's reccommended range.

Well, if you know what you're lookin for you can just barely see it in the rear. I should of said its not very noticeable. Not enough that will cause any extreme tire wear.

Maybe I'm ancient but would an alignment shop correct camber? If so what are even the uses of camber kits.

When I dropped my last car I went ahead and installed a camber kit...saying I didn't need it?

thanks for all of the help I have an appointment with Mazda for all 4 tires for 63.00 and get this they will also adjust toe and camber. :D
