Advice on Springs

Hey,
Well I just put on Intax (1.5 all around drop) springs on my 99 protege es and well I was wondering if the car is going to be fine with this, I didnt put any shocks yet(cant afford them right now). I want to know what kind of springs have you all put on your pros and what kind of results have you all had and also give me an advice on how long do you think my shocks are going to last and what should I do next.

THANKS

I put the H&R springs on my p5, and even cut almost a full coil out of the front and back because it still wasn't quite low enough, or level enough for me. The ride is good, and the fenders sit right on the tires now, and I'm stock struts too. I've been running the stock struts for almost 7 months now with no problems. And I have no intention of ever upgrading my struts until they blow out either. Its not that big of a deal, unless you're some hardcore racer, or sumthin. You're car will be just fine with a 1.5" drop, mine is around 2" now.
