YOU GOTTA READ this reviewo nthe P5

okay I don't know what this guy was driving or maybe smoking when he was driving but jsut read

Extremly gutless. I test drove this car and I had a hard time keeping the car at 100kmh. Very, Very weak acceleration. Brake pedal too hard. Bad gas milage for a 130hp engine. The corolla with the same horse power gets almost 10MPG!!!!! That's huge money over the long run.

he had trouble keeping it at 100 kmh?? did he have his foot on the brake?? or was he not shifting?? WTF??

eh... where did you find this review, since you didn't post the source of it.

onehawaiian May-7th-2002 04:54 AM

how fast is 100kmh? (mph?) :dunno: and how do you have trouble "keeping" it at a certain speed? what a bonehead.

Raptor May-7th-2002 07:06 AM

100 km/h = 60 m/h

and i agree with you what a Bonehead.

Sir Nuke May-7th-2002 07:21 AM

maybe the BONEHEAD forgot to take it out of 2nd?

OR we are looking at this all wrong....ya know.....I have a hard time keeping MY p-5 at that speed too....IT IS ALWAYS GOING FASTER!!! :{D just don't want to slow down! lol

as far as the weak Acc goes.....well.....he must be comparing it to something with twice the HP or something.....

and isn't the barke peddle SUPPOSED to be hard? if it didn't get hard the barkes AREN'T WORKING!! LOL

geeeeez what a total bonehead.

2002VividYellow May-7th-2002 07:23 AM

Kilometers x .6214 = Miles or in this case MPH

Silvermp5 May-7th-2002 08:41 AM

I think this guys was test driving an auto and left the parking brake on :D

arl240 May-7th-2002 10:05 AM

I'm with Silver on this one, probably the parking brake.

vkyolv May-7th-2002 10:12 AM

Maybe the bonehead wasn't even driving it, but daydreaming that he could ever drive in such a wonderous car...while in all reality he was giving a review of his Mo-Ped.

All of us couldn't be possibly driving a bad car. Consumer reviews are mostly crap since they are written by people who don't know cars. As long as C and D gives it a good rating, I really can't find a fault with it.
And the 5 is great, had a guy in a black Porsche Boxter steer over at it and the stoplight.

craigrrrp May-7th-2002 04:13 PM

well it does help to have the e-brake off.....

traffik May-7th-2002 04:59 PM

What a bonehead.he probably tryed the stock sports 20 in gran turismo 2 to come up with such a stupid review.
Of course the brake pedal is hard ,you butthole!
Ok this is ridiculous.
