yet another alarm question

okay

I DON'T HAVE A RED blinking light, BUT we have a BLUE blinking light right in behind the steering wheel inbetween that and hte spedo etc.. we DId get it used with VERY few klicks on it and I am wondering if the old owner replaced the red light with a blue one.... is that possible??

so even though it only turns on when the key is out it is still jsut a LED?? it liike like it was a factory thing or it was really well done if it wasen't because it's right in in behind the steering wheel and it isn't a bad hole or anyting could they have just replaced the old light because when we cought it they said it had an alarm and if it dosen't I'll be pissed..

YES brycer....it appears as though you DO have an alarm....but the previous owner changed the light for some reason....maybe he liked blue better.....either way.....the alarm arms when you lock the doors using your keyless remote...

NOW, if you REALLY want to see if you have a factory alarm....and not just a blinking light on the dash to make people BELIEVE you have an alarm.....move the drivers seat back.....get a flash light....lay on your back and scoot under so you are looking under the dash.....look around near the steering column...if you have a factory alarm you will see a little black box that is about 1 1/2 inches wide by about 2 1/2 inches long, most likely with some alarm companies sticker on it saying its the SENSOR.....and a little knob on the side of it...that is the sensitivity adjustment.

SO, if the blinking light is there....and the sensor box is there...you have an alarm.
