so i installed a manual boost controller. man, this thing is like throwing gas on a bonfire: it makes a good thing even better!

i upped it to 9 PSI from factory settings. its louder, first of all ( a very audible whistle and BPV resonation, to the bling-blingy crowd). secondly, the controller i chose eliminates lag damn near completely. it uses a slight bleed-style setup to give you the instant 'hit', and a ball/check valve to regulate maximum boost pressure. so you get the best of both worlds. :)

on the freeway tonight, i did the unthinkable: i ran a 2004 GT mustang neck-and-neck to 125 mph with just the boost regulator.

a downpipe and hardpipes are goin' on this car immediately: i am absolutely hooked!
