Windshield washer injector has some problem.
 

Recently after I washed my P5, I have found that one of the rear window washer fluid injectors no longer spraying the fluid onto the glass. It shoot down much lower to above my liscen plate.
I don't know what moved its direction.
How can I fix that?

just place a safety pin into the nozzle that doesnt spray directly and aim where you want it...

on my probe i used to aim it up towards other cars in the rear and spray my friends when they are following too closely or if they just washed their cars.. too bad its not possible on the p5's just because of the mounting location..

If it is still spraying strong, just in the wrong direction, you can re-aim them with a small pin of some sort. If the fluid is coming out slowly, Mazda will replace it, no questions asked, under warranty. One of my windshield nozzles was suffering from limp-spray syndrome and they took care of it at my 10k service.

The problem is the nozzle is hidden deep under inside the rear roof spoiler.
I might either need a very long stick to hold the pin to aim it, or take off the whole spoiler.

Should I take it off?

if you cant reach the pin without using a stick you will need to take off the spoiler to get at it.. over time the nozzles get stuck in its position.. so using a pin on a stick would be hard to deal with.... the spoiler is just held on by a couple srewed and nuts.... you ahve to remove a couple black plastic plugs to acess the nuts.. and you also have to unhook the brake light assembly to remove the spoiler..

My car has serious limp spray syndrome. I removed the spray nozzle myself and cleaned it out (it wasnt even clogged) but it still sprays to the top of the hood, thats about it. I had the car in to the dealer for a recall recently and it didnt even dawn on me to mention the spray nozzle problem to them. figured they would have laughed at me and said "what do you expect on a cheap car "(those nozzles are extremely cheap, if you ever remove one yourself, youll see what I mean)

oh well, guess ill just live with it. One side of the nozzle hits the windshield at least.
